New Rules for Energy Communities!

The Ministry of the Environment has approved an important update on Renewable Energy Communities and collective self-consumption. The new rules expand access to incentives to municipalities with fewer than 50,000 residents, introduce more flexible project deadlines, and allow for up to 30% of the grant to be paid in advance.

The system also becomes more advantageous: grants can now be combined with other contributions without reductions, even for individual citizens.

The decree is now pending final validation before publication.
